Madeline and Lewis got married at the picturesque Bower Estate in the Gold Coast hinterland. Their day was beautifully relaxed and set against the backdrop of the Bower Estate’s lush gardens and breathtaking mountain views. A surprise rain shower during the ceremony added a touch of magic to day, making the day feel even more dreamy and romantic. Madeline and Lewis were the sweetest couple and we loved being part of their special day!

TELL US ABOUT THE VISION YOU HAD FOR YOUR DAY - THE VIBE, THE STYLE AND THE FEEL

We wanted our wedding to be a relaxed, fun celebration with our closest family and friends. We had a small bridal party with just our two sisters which was special. We chose The Bower Estate because of the beautiful views and scenery and wanted that to be the centrepiece. We love the outdoors and wanted to be outside as much as possible during our day. We love bright, happy colours and chose this for our flowers and decorations!

WHAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR DAY? SHARE A STORY WITH US!

It rained in the middle of our outdoor ceremony! It was bright and sunny then started pouring down halfway through. Luckily The Bower Estate had umbrellas on hand and we finished the ceremony in the rain, it was really beautiful and unexpected. We had to pause as they handed out umbrellas which gave us a few moments to be together and take everything in. Something we’ll never forget and hopefully means lots of good luck for the future!

WHAT’S YOUR TOP TIP FOR COUPLES PLANNING THEIR WEDDING DAY?

Don’t overthink it. We didn’t have strong visions or preferences for the day, so followed the advice of our venue and vendors and trusted their expert knowledge! This made the whole process really low stress and easy. It will be a perfect day no matter what happens.
