Tell us about the vision you had for your day - the vibe, the style and the feel

We really wanted our day to feel like an intimate celebration with our closest friends and family. We wanted everyone to feel very relaxed and happy and enjoy the quality time spent with each other. The vibe at Figtree Restaurant is so cool, very relaxed but elegant at the same time which fit perfectly with what we wanted.

What was the highlight of your day? Share a story with us!

The highlight for the day was the first look! It was so special being able to share that moment with each other before the ceremony. It completely eased any nerves.

What’s your top tip for couples planning their wedding day?

Alongside a wedding planner, we planned our wedding day in secret before announcing our engagement and it allowed us to focus on what we wanted the day to be, and who we wanted there, without the pressure or influence of others. We wouldn't have had it any other way, it meant every aspect of the wedding day was truly 'us', we would definitely recommend!
